Arapaima gigas caught by our friend Heiko from Germany estimated 160 kg+(352lb).The fish was caught from Bungsamlan Lake in Bangkok.The Amazonian predator was caught on a mackerel deadbait fished in a prebaited marginal area.Heiko was aided by fishsiam owner Wuttichai Khuensuwan aka'Boy'and local expert Mut.I think the fish was well over the estimated weight maybe pushing 175 KG+!
